For example, what challenges do we have in Apparel and how can 3D body applications transform the industry? How can AI enhance online shopping and empower the Apparel design? Dr Delman Lee, Vice Chair of TAL Apparel Limited, Hong Kong

Delman LEEDr. Lee is the Vice Chair of TAL Apparel Limited.  He is also a Council Member and the chairman of the Hong Kong Sustainability Award Committee of The Hong Kong Management Association, the board chair of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, a Non-executive Director of the Bank of East Asia Limited & Tradelink Electronic Commerce Limited.

Dr. Lee possesses extensive experience in information technology and management in global operations.  He also has a strong background in research.

Dr. Lee holds a doctorate from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Imperial College, London.

 

 

Prof Calvin Wong, CEO and Centre Director of AiDLab, Hong Kong

Calvin WongProf Wong is the CEO and Centre Director of AiDLab – Laboratory for AI in Design which is jointly established by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and The Royal College of Art in UK. AiDLab is one of the InnoHK Cluster of HKSAR Government and is the first research platform that focuses on integrating AI with design innovations.

Prof Wong has been ranked among the world’s top 1% of most cited scientists in “AI and Image Processing”. His main research focuses on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with fashion and textiles, particularly in machine vision, pattern recognition and deep learning.
